Where’s Charley? - A Musical Comedy
May 30 - 5PM (Boston, MA)
A musical comedy adapted and translated from Brandon Thomas’s classic Charley’s Aunt. Performed in Russian.
You may already know this famous story - the same play inspired the beloved film “Hello, I’m Your Aunt!” (though the characters and plot differ quite a bit). At the center of the action is a chain of hilarious misunderstandings that begins when a very inventive young man decides to impersonate a wealthy widow visiting from Brazil… and from there, everything spirals delightfully out of control.
What awaits you:
- Precise, inspired direction by Nelya Galiakbarova
- Original music by Anna Vasilevskaya
- Stylish choreography by Anna Karpukhina
- The stellar cast of Resonance Studio Theatre
- A lively, fast‑moving story full of humor, songs, and unexpected twists
This musical comedy is designed for adult audiences, but children and teens ages 10+ will enjoy it as well - it’s light, funny, dynamic, and very friendly in tone.
A show that sweeps you up from the very first minute and never lets go!
Performed in Russian
Duration: Approximately 1h 45 min with 15 min intermission -

Alice in Wonderland - Theatre Lab Camp
July 13–17 | 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM
We invite you to join our theatre lab camp inspired by Lewis Carroll’s beloved tale Alice in Wonderland. We won’t be staging the story or its scenes; instead, we’ll be creating the imaginative world of Wonderland with our own hands - making characters from simple materials, inventing magical objects and accessories, and crafting treasures the children can take home.
We’ll also play plenty of theatre games for confidence, communication, and movement, practice acting and playful vocal exercises - all of it on the open-air summer stage of Resonance Studio Theatre!
What could be better than playing and building Wonderland outdoors, where nature itself helps create a magical atmosphere?
You will be guided through Wonderland by Nelya Galiakbarova, a professional theatre educator, director, and actress, and Svetlana Molchanova, an artist, teacher, and member of the gallery community.

In this four-day camp students will learn the fundamentals of improv theatre. How do we create a scene without a script? We will focus on building characters, relationships and working with our scene partners to make a story. We’ll exercise our imagination, creativity, and of course our comedic timing!
