Alice in Wonderland - Theatre Lab Camp

This theatre lab camp inspired by Alice in Wonderland turned into a joyful, imaginative celebration of creativity. Instead of staging scenes from the story, the children built their own Wonderland - inventing characters from simple materials, crafting magical objects, and creating whimsical treasures to take home. Their handmade creatures and fantastical inventions filled the space with charm and originality.
Throughout the day, the group played theatre games that encouraged confidence, communication, and expressive movement. They practiced acting, explored playful vocal exercises, and discovered how imagination grows when you’re working together. All of this happened on the open‑air summer stage of Resonance Studio Theatre, where the warm weather and surrounding nature added a magical atmosphere to every activity.
Guided by Nelya Galiakbarova, theatre educator, director, and actress, and Svetlana Molchanova, artist and teacher, the children journeyed through their own version of Wonderland - curious, inspired, and fully immersed in the creative process.
It was a bright, heartfelt event where imagination blossomed, friendships formed, and Wonderland came to life under the open sky.
