Clown Workshop with Mike Lion
About Workshop
In this three-session workshop, Mike Lion will lead a series of games, exercises, and experiments, introducing you to the world of clowning. Clowning is a vulnerable art form that challenges us to drop the masks and barriers we put up and access the deep emotions underneath. We'll nurture our childlike curiosity and sense of wonder as we laugh, cry and activate our mirror neurons. Training in clown will ground your presence onstage, expand your connection with the audience, and help you find joy and a true sense of play in your work.
Please wear clothes that are comfortable for movement and come ready to play!

Artem Lyskov master class day 2: Confidence Under Attention
Resonance Studio Theatre invites you to two days of exclusive acting masterclasses with Artyom Lyskov — a New York–based professional theatre and film actor!
Day 2 — “Confidence Under Attention”
This day is about performance in the most human sense.
How nervousness works. Where adrenaline comes from. Why we get overwhelmed the moment eyes turn toward us.
And most importantly — how to make friends with all of that.
We’ll break down what external attention really is: why it can feel heavy, and how to learn to receive it, redirect it, and use it to your advantage.
We’ll talk about stage fright — which, in truth, isn’t about the stage at all, but about what we feel when we become “visible.”
A very calm, very practical class.
More about life than about theatre: public speaking, meetings, presentations, new people, and all those “everyone’s looking at me” moments.
If you want to feel less anxious, sound more confident, and feel alive rather than tense — this is for you.
Artem Lyskov master class day 1: How to build a believable connection
Resonance Studio Theatre invites you to two days of exclusive acting masterclasses with Artyom Lyskov — a New York–based professional theatre and film actor.
Day 1 — “How to build a believable connection”
This workshop is all about creating a genuine, lived connection with your scene partner — not “pretending,” but actually being present with another human being.
How to open up, stay vulnerable, stop hiding, really listen, and still remain grounded in yourself.
We’ll explore what true, responsive partner energy feels like — the kind that brings truth, depth, and a real exchange to the surface.
Expect plenty of partner work: noticing how contact is formed, what breaks it, and what — almost magically — brings it back to life.
This is Freedom + Game in the most practical sense: honesty, trust, and the courage to show up as yourself in front of another person.
If you’re an actor, this is your bedrock.
If you’re not an actor, it’s more valuable than any “communication training,” because everything here is real — no masks, no scripts. This workshop is perfect for anyone who works in pairs or in a team.
