Where’s Charley? (Performed in Russian)

A musical comedy adapted and translated from Brandon Thomas’s classic Charley’s Aunt.
Performed in Russian.

You may already know this famous story - the same play inspired the beloved film “Hello, I’m Your Aunt!” (though the characters and plot differ quite a bit). At the center of the action is a chain of hilarious misunderstandings that begins when a very inventive young man decides to impersonate a wealthy widow visiting from Brazil… and from there, everything spirals delightfully out of control.

What awaits you:

  • Precise, inspired direction by Nelya Galiakbarova

  • Original music by Anna Vasilevskaya

  • Stylish choreography by Anna Karpukhina

  • The stellar cast of Resonance Studio Theatre

  • A lively, fast‑moving story full of humor, songs, and unexpected twists

This musical comedy is designed for adult audiences, but children and teens ages 10+ will enjoy it as well - it’s light, funny, dynamic, and very friendly in tone.

A show that sweeps you up from the very first minute and never lets go!

Performed in Russian
Duration: Approximately 1h 45 min with 15 min intermission

Hurry to get your tickets: the discount is valid through May 8 - just use promo code Charley26 at checkout.

Alice in Wonderland - Theatre Lab Camp

We invite you to join our theatre lab camp inspired by Lewis Carroll’s beloved tale Alice in Wonderland. We won’t be staging the story or its scenes; instead, we’ll be creating the imaginative world of Wonderland with our own hands - making characters from simple materials, inventing magical objects and accessories, and crafting treasures the children can take home.

We’ll also play plenty of theatre games for confidence, communication, and movement, practice acting and playful vocal exercises - all of it on the open-air summer stage of Resonance Studio Theatre!

What could be better than playing and building Wonderland outdoors, where nature itself helps create a magical atmosphere?

You will be guided through Wonderland by Nelya Galiakbarova, a professional theatre educator, director, and actress, and Svetlana Molchanova, an artist, teacher, and member of the gallery community.

Clown Workshop with Mike Lion

About Workshop

In this three-session workshop, Mike Lion will lead a series of games, exercises, and experiments, introducing you to the world of clowning. Clowning is a vulnerable art form that challenges us to drop the masks and barriers we put up and access the deep emotions underneath. We'll nurture our childlike curiosity and sense of wonder as we laugh, cry and activate our mirror neurons. Training in clown will ground your presence onstage, expand your connection with the audience, and help you find joy and a true sense of play in your work.

Please wear clothes that are comfortable for movement and come ready to play!

About Mike

Mike is a director, actor, translator and clown based in Seattle, WA. He is the Co-Artistic Director of Dacha Theatre, which specializes in site-specific productions, immersive spectacles, and original work. Mike is drawn to physical theatre and has trained in Commedia dell’Arte, American Melodrama, Suzuki Movement, Slapstick, Mask, and Clown at institutions such as the Accademia dell’Arte in Arezzo, Italy and with the San Francisco Mime Troupe. Artem Lyskov master class day 2: Confidence Under Attention

Resonance Studio Theatre invites you to two days of exclusive acting masterclasses with Artyom Lyskov — a New York–based professional theatre and film actor!

Day 2 — “Confidence Under Attention”

This day is about performance in the most human sense.

How nervousness works. Where adrenaline comes from. Why we get overwhelmed the moment eyes turn toward us.

And most importantly — how to make friends with all of that.

We’ll break down what external attention really is: why it can feel heavy, and how to learn to receive it, redirect it, and use it to your advantage.

We’ll talk about stage fright — which, in truth, isn’t about the stage at all, but about what we feel when we become “visible.”

A very calm, very practical class.

More about life than about theatre: public speaking, meetings, presentations, new people, and all those “everyone’s looking at me” moments.

If you want to feel less anxious, sound more confident, and feel alive rather than tense — this is for you.

Artem Lyskov master class day 1: How to build a believable connection

Resonance Studio Theatre invites you to two days of exclusive acting masterclasses with Artyom Lyskov — a New York–based professional theatre and film actor.

Day 1 — “How to build a believable connection”

This workshop is all about creating a genuine, lived connection with your scene partner — not “pretending,” but actually being present with another human being.

How to open up, stay vulnerable, stop hiding, really listen, and still remain grounded in yourself.

We’ll explore what true, responsive partner energy feels like — the kind that brings truth, depth, and a real exchange to the surface.

Expect plenty of partner work: noticing how contact is formed, what breaks it, and what — almost magically — brings it back to life.

This is Freedom + Game in the most practical sense: honesty, trust, and the courage to show up as yourself in front of another person.

If you’re an actor, this is your bedrock.

If you’re not an actor, it’s more valuable than any “communication training,” because everything here is real — no masks, no scripts. This workshop is perfect for anyone who works in pairs or in a team.

BodyLab: Freedom in Motion

You’re invited to “BodyLab: Freedom in Motion” — a movement class led by director and professional choreographer Anna Karpukhina.

A five-session course about joy, release, and creative expression.

There are no right or wrong moves — only physical honesty and inner freedom.

Each class is a small adventure: images inspire, space gives rise to new forms, and partners spark unexpected discoveries.

Open to everyone — no experience needed. Just bring comfortable clothes, a bottle of water, and a curious spirit.

All sales final. No refunds or exchanges.
