Summer Camp ME TER LINCK - Blue Bird theater laboratory with Nelya Galiakbarova and Sasha Dashevskaya at Resonance Studio!
All the kids boldly experimented and created something new and unusual, enjoyed playing with their characters and with each other. We had a truly creative and theatrical atmosphere!
Our main goals for this laboratory were to liberate the kids, awaken their imagination, make a creative and safe atmosphere (where there is no "right" and "wrong"), show them that there are different forms of theater, and that you can create a theater from the simplest and most ordinary objects (like dishes, balloons, clothes, bags, paper, leaves, bark, flowers, etc.), and by adding light and sound to them, you can create entire performances! Maeterlinck's book "The Blue Bird", which we read and discussed together, is remarkable in this sense, since the souls of animals, trees and a variety of everyday objects come to life in it, and this gives a huge field for fantasy and imagination.
Everyone learned something new, and we hope that the kids will continue to create at home, and that they will look differently now at the world around them.
